Streaking

This is the result of poor cleaning methods. You can see either long swipe marks from someone trying to clean the whole screen or swirls from someone trying to spot clean the screen. Sometimes we can remove all of the streaking, but more often than not we can only lighten and improve the area. Etching usually occurs in conjunction with streaking. Sometimes streaking is the result of poor quality control in the manufacturing of the screen. Our five-step screen cleaning process does not streak the screen. See Etching and Shadow Marks.
