Oldham Theater Improves Picture Quality in time for A Dickens of a Christmas
The Oldham Theater on the main square in Winchester, TN had its two movie screens cleaned Monday night by Theatre Services International, Inc. The theater, soon to be listed in the registry of historic cinemas in 2001, had 6 years of dust as well as numerous cola stains removed from its two movie screens.
The local owners of the Oldham Theater, Ray and Beth Rhoton, wanted to make sure that their movie theater continued to provide the best cinema experience to their community. By having their movie screens cleaned, they ensured that their audiences would be getting the sharpest picture and warmest colors
possible. They had the work done in time for A Dickens of a Christmas on the Main Square.
Because of the special reflective nature of movie screens, they are easy to damage and
difficult to clean. Movie screen manufacturers even warn against trying to clean their screens due to this fact. But with the development of the TS2 ™ Movie Screen Cleaning Process, movie screens can be cleaned without damaging them thus saving the theater owners thousands of dollars in replacement costs.
